Why is this news?
It will get RROD and all the best games on the market and people will buy it like hot cakes.
...and even if MS would launch their nextnextnextnext gen console already, game devs would still make games that run with 360/PS3.
The new xbox would not get many games purely made for it, just because not many people would buy the new one quite yet.
Though if the new console would run all the 360 games smoother and better.. then maybe it would sell slowly.
That's the way it goes.. or seems to go with PS3. Without all these delays PS3 might have been able to kick 360 over the board ages ago.
Lets make it super easy without AI. No game is this easy even if played on EASY mode. Come on, give us proper AI!

I really do hope they will improve it a lot. There was no visible AI in this video and that is not a good sign. Looks very decent though.
EVEN if it was in easy mode it sucked big time. No game is this easy.

We all know that PS3 blu-ray is the slowest in the market, but it does not mean the same one will be the one that comes with 360, if ever.
If MS will indeed do this, I'm pretty sure there will be standalone USB blu-ray for 360 later on. If not they're mad.
I understand your point, but I mainly talk about achievements only, not the score that comes with them. Gamer Score is another thing, it indeed pushes some people to buy the games they would not buy otherwise.
I personally don't care about my gamer score, because not all people have the same games, but the achievements alone tells how far you are in certain game and did you beat the game or not.
Achievements are good, they support the feeling of accomplishing something in game.
It is also a nice to follow how your mates are advancing in games, even if they're not online you can see their achievements. Also a little competition between friends who beats the games first and gets those "evil" achievements is always welcome.
Even if you don't like them you don't have to be an ass.

Can't wait for this title. What scares me though, is that Oblivion was a great disappointment to me. Also their Star Trek game... aaarr painful experience, evil, horrible.

GTA4 is definitely one of the best games ever for both consoles.
